How do I access my course?
Courses are accessed at https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/ or the via “My Courses” link on this website.
Where is the Zoom link?
For online meditation programs, self-study courses, mentoring groups, and the Monthly Sangha Gathering:
- The Zoom link is found within your course at https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/ or the via “My Courses” link on this website.
- Find your course and look for “Meetings” in the left-hand navigation.
- Then click the “Join Meeting” button which will launch Zoom at the meeting start time.
For one-on-ones:
- If you booked the appointment using Calendly, our online booking system, the Zoom link will be in the calendar invite you were emailed when you signed up for the appointment (most common).
- Otherwise, if the one-on-one was scheduled informally (less common), Stephen normally emails the Zoom link directly before the meeting.
- For recurring appointments, it is normally the same Zoom link for each meeting.
Why am I not getting course related emails?
If you aren’t getting course related emails, this could be for multiple reasons.
First login to My Courses, navigate to your course, and check the preferences page to confirm you have set your preferences to receive emails like in the screenshot below to ensure you haven’t accidentally unsubscribed.
If your preferences are set correctly, like in the screenshot above, then the issue is likely that your email provider is blocking the emails.
Common Troubleshooting Steps
- Ensure that the following email addresses are added to your contacts (or safe senders list):
- [E-Address: notifications | courses] – used by Ruzuku for course notifications.
- [E-Address: hello | awakeningdharma] – used for the newsletter, general announcements, and some Ruzuku notifications.
- Check your SPAM folder for any emails that were incorrectly filtered to SPAM. You’ll need to mark these emails as “Not Spam”.
- Search your email for the email addresses [E-Address: hello | awakeningdharma] and [E-Address: notifications | courses] to see if they emails have been filtered from your default view. Some email providers remove emails like these from your INBOX and put them in an area called “Updates” or similar.
- Check the documentation from your email provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Protonmail, etc) regarding not receiving email.
When should I receive reminder emails?
For all online courses, event reminders are typically sent 24 hours before the event and then again 1 hour before the event start time.
Even if you don’t get a reminder email you can still join the course at the scheduled time by going to Ruzuku.
The “Join Meeting” button isn’t working
Sometimes if you click the “Join Meeting” button there can be an issue where the meeting isn’t automatically launched at the start time. Simply refreshing your browser once, or navigating to the page a second time, seems to resolve the issue.
How do I access recordings of a course I missed?
- Login at https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/ or use the “My Courses” link on the homepage.
- Navigate to the course.
- Visit the “Meetings” tab on the left hand side of the window (see below).
- Scroll to down to “Past” and choose the recording you want to view.
Recordings are made available as soon as automatic processing completes (which can take up to a few hours).
How do I cancel or reschedule a one-on-one?

How do I cancel a recurring monthly program?
- Login at https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/ or use the “My Courses” link on the homepage.
- Navigate to the course.
- Choose “Preferences”.
- Select cancel.
This generally works but in some cases you may need to email [E-Address: hello | awakeningdharma] and say what course you’d like to cancel. For example, it seems that dāna courses do not enable a self-service cancellation.

How do I update my payment method?
- Login at https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/ or use the “My Courses” link on the homepage.
- Navigate to the course or bundle.
- Choose “Preferences”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen for payment options.
If you are enrolled in multiple courses, you may need to update your payment information for each course.
How do I update my email address?
- Login and navigate to https://courses.awakeningdharma.org/account/profile and update your email address.
- Next, re-subscribe to the newsletter with your new email address.
