Zen, Koans, and Kenshō

Self-Paced Course

Online

This one-day retreat explores the use of Koans in the Zen tradition, the relationship of Koans to Awakening (called Kenshō) and the impact and effect of Kenshō on our personal consciousness and sense of identity.

The instruction and dharma talks are supplemented by meditations such as “Innate Goodness meditation”, “Silent Illumination meditation” (also called Shikintaza) and innovated guided meditations touching into the source of all creation and manifestation – the Absolute.

In participating in this self-paced retreat, you will more clearly understand the functioning of the Absolute, grasp the Zen tradition more fully, appreciate the use of koans in spiritual realization and maturing of the personality.  Additionally, you will potentially feel and sense directly the ever-present connection and relationship to the Absolute in both meditation as well as everyday life.

NOTE: This is an older course so the video is not the highest quality. We believe the content is still quite good and so are continuing to offer the course.

DATES & SCHEDULE: This is a self-paced course, available for registration at any time.

FEE: There is a one-time fee of $25 USD.
