Stress Reduction for Lawyers: Online Course

This course explores the causes and effects of stress in legal professions and provides a powerful framework for learning to relax and be a more heart-based person. Developing this heart-based foundation minimizes stress in our lives, while improving our professional and personal relationships.

Offered by Stephen Snyder, a retired lawyer and Buddhist meditation teacher, lessons include guided meditation practices, supportive readings from Stephen’s book Stress Reduction for Lawyers, Law Students, and Legal Professionals, and optional exercises.

Meditation practices offered in this course, include:
Focused Attention Stress Reduction (FASR) to deepen relaxation and serenity.
Innate Goodness Practice to counteract ongoing patterns of negative self-talk.
Heart-Based Practices to develop well-being, empathy, and kindness for ourselves and others.
